Highway
Road Tanker
The journey starts on the road. ADR-compliant tankers carry the fuel to the airport, from 5,000 to 20,000 litres.

Depot
Stationary Tank Unit
At the airport the fuel goes into the depot's tank farm and leaves it by refueller or through the hydrant line. Where a fixed fuelling point is needed, stationary tank units from 10,000 to 45,000 litres serve as the station.

Apron
Rigid and Semi-Trailer Refuellers
One way to the wing: refuellers fill at the depot and drive to the aircraft. Up to 20,000 litres on a rigid chassis, up to 60,000 on a semi-trailer.

Hydrant
Hydrant Dispenser and Pit Cleaner
The other way runs underground. The dispenser fuels from the hydrant pit at up to 4,000 L/min; the pit cleaner cleans and dries the hydrant system with vacuum, water and air.
